Hello Exeter House,

This is just to let you know that I have wrested control of Ping Pong from Pradeep's hands and am now declaring myself to be in control. I intend to run this whole situation much more ruthlessly and corruptly than he would
have.

So, we are having two (2) events this term.

THE LADDER

This will be an ongoing affair. In general, you can challenge people a certain number of spots ahead of you, and if you beat them you can take their spot. People can play whenever they want, and you can play as much or as little as you wish. The ladder will be posted on
the wall by the table, on a nice new shiny writing board purchased by Pradeep.
The draw for initial placement on the ladder will take place tomorrow (Monday) night at 10pm in the Common room. We will be pulling names out of a hat. If you haven't gotten back to Pradeep or me by that point, you will not be included in the draw and will have to start from the very bottom of the ladder if you want to join subsequently. So far only Mauro, Julian, Stefanie, Christian, Nick, Cameron, Brandon, Hong, Alex, Pritam and Pradeep are in. So we are still missing some key ringers. Please get back to me.

THE TOURNAMENT

This will take place at some point later in the term, perhaps 5th or 6th week. Depending how things go, your seeding in the tournament will depend on where you stand in the ladder.

So. If you are interested at all, hit reply now. I declare Pritam the resident Ping Pong enforcer, and I will have him 'look you up' if I deem your membership in this exclusive club to be required, and you don't get back to me.
