 Hi everyone, I'm Christo and I'm in the second year of my DPhil (Machine Learning and Bioinformatics). This means that I know lots of buzzword and not much else. I'm also mad on dancing and try to sell it to as many people as possible, so watch out! I'm a New Zealander and I lived there most of my life, but I love living in Oxford, and I love living in England. I love living in Oxford because there's so much to do and because Exeter and the university is so amazing. I love living in England because it's close to Scotland, and Scotland reminds me of home! I'm the President of the MCR this year. That means that if there's a problem - any problem - or something that needs to be changed then please please tell me, and I'll look into it! I'm going to try and make it to tea and cakes every single week as well, so you can always grab my ear then too.  Hello, I'm Sahana and am reading for an MPhil in Migration Studies. I'm meant to look after, pretty much, anything that concerns the graduate body. The MCR has a special place in our lives and I hope I can ensure that it continues to remain the same, changing only to get better. I hope this year will see greater participation of all members in the activities of the MCR and I will try to make sure that there is something for everyone to enjoy – I welcome ideas and thoughts, wild and otherwise. See you around!  Hi, I’m Michelle and I’m reading for a D.Phil. in Psychiatry. I’m the MCR Welfare Officer dedicated to sorting out all your welfare issues and making our MCR a friendly, discrimination free, bustling hub of Exonian social life. So whether you’d just like a friendly stress buster chat or perhaps a more formal discussion on issues that need to be taken up by the committee and/or college, do get in touch with me. I might not be able to sort out all your problems for you, but I can definitely help you get in touch with the right people. My responsibilities also include luring you all to Tea and Cakes every week with the most scrumptious goodies the MCR has to offer and being ever vigilant to make sure the MCR’s endless supply of tea and coffee never does run dry!  Hello, I am Hannah and I am the Exeter House President. My background is in English Literature and Women's Studies, but the moment I am working at the Bodleian Library and writing fiction so can usually be found haunting the cafes of Oxford. If any of you have problems or questions concerning accommodation then please do come to me and I will try my very best to help you. I am here to make sure that everything goes smoothly in graduate college accommodation and to make sure that all the naughty residents do their washing up! So do please get in touch if you have any suggestions, or if there is anything that I can help with.  Hi everyone, I'm Katherine and am happy to be helping out with environmental issues in the MCR. My vision for the MCR is for it to be a welcoming, safe, and relaxing place that is also responsible in its use of resources and sensitive to environmental issues. I would like us to live deliberately by, for example, using less, re-using things, and recycling. I look forward to acting upon additional ideas and concerns as the year progresses. I will continue to set up options in the MCR which might be helpful - a receptacle for used but re-usable envelopes is one simple but practical example - pigeon post can generate a lot of envelopes that are barely used. As a community of people living in close proximity, we have a unique opportunity to work together on many issues like these, with the potential to really make a difference in the way we chose to live.
